The Lectures
Introductions to Lectures
Tacoma, Washington (Third Church):
Lecturer: James G. Rowell; introduced by Mrs. Florence E. Murray, who said:—
For over twenty years I have depended upon Christian Science to solve my problems, and as a result many blessings have come to me and my family. While I was still a new student of Christian Science, a niece of mine was afflicted with a disease of the eyes. The family physician could not help her, and apparently she was losing her sight. Her parents decided to try Christian Science. A practitioner was employed, and my sister and her husband began to read the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. In less than two weeks, the little girl was completely healed. That was twenty years ago, and her sight has been normal ever since.
