Trusting

What if the seas be dark and drear,
Our little craft be tossed
With angry winds that conjure fear!
Trust Love, and nought is lost.

Oh, lift thine heart and raise thine eye,
More Christlike thoughts to gain,
Watching the scudding clouds go by,
True confidence maintain!

For Love is guarding each dear child
With tenderness and care.
Fear not the storms, though they be wild:
All good is everywhere.
