Christian Science has been my only help and physician for many years. I am very grateful for having been a pupil in the Christian Science Sunday School, where a good foundation was laid in my thinking.

I have had many proofs of God's care. One morning while I was putting a cord into one of the electrical machines at the office, the cord started to burn and two of the fingers of my right hand were burned. I immediately declared the truth as taught in Christian Science, allowing no one to look at my hand. I said to myself, "There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter. All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 468), and went on with my work, although the fingers seemed to be very painful. I kept on with my regular duties, and by noon all pain had ceased; the next day not a sign of the burn remained.

Some time ago, while visiting in the East, my mother and I suffered from what was apparently food poisoning. A friend called a practitioner, because we were unable to leave our rooms. We began to improve immediately and by morning were well and able to drive on up the coast and complete our vacation trip.
