I first became interested in Christian Science eleven years...
I first became interested in Christian Science eleven years ago through attending a lecture. I was so convinced that it was a demonstrable religion that I sought to gain a deeper knowledge of its healing power.
At that time I was a sufferer from hay fever in a very severe form. It attacked me each summer, reducing me to a helpless state and making it impossible for me to follow my occupation. I was also unable to lie down, so that for long periods I had to pass the nights in a sitting position. Even when some relief came I was unable to travel, go to the country, or even into a garden; while into my home no flowers could be brought.
Christian Science taught me that this condition was contrary to God's law concerning His child, and that error had no power or right to control me in this way.
