It is now nearly thirty years since Christian Science first came into our home. After years of suffering and invalidism, I had been given up to die by doctors and specialists. I knew nothing whatever of Christian Science, but in my great extremity I listened to a friend who, seeing my most unhappy condition of both mind and body, kindly took me to see a practitioner in London, and from that time my healing began.

My complete healing was long delayed, but a very great moral change took place, so much so, that my husband and young daughter, noticing it, soon became interested in Christian Science also. My husband was a healthy man, but for years he had been a smoker and also partook of stimulants. Both habits very soon became distasteful to him and left entirely.

A healing for which I am most grateful was the wonderful healing of sorrow which my daughter and I experienced when our dear one passed on quite suddenly, about seven years ago. We were amazed at the way we were uplifted and helped when the practitioner lovingly responded to our call.
