"The starting-point of divine Science"

The Gospels record many commands of Christ Jesus to those he healed and taught. These commands were given to awaken them from the mesmerism of mortal existence, the dream of life in matter, to the understanding and demonstration of life in God. They reveal to the earnest student of Christian Science the purpose of Jesus' demonstration as Way-shower to humanity.

Jesus said, "Ye must be born again." Life, God, the cause of all real being, must be accepted as the immortal basis from which to work out one's salvation from the belief of separation from God, and thus demonstrate the eternal unity of the infinite creator and His infinite creation.

How grateful we are that in this age Mary Baker Eddy was pure enough to discern the divine Science which inspired the demonstration of Jesus! She revealed to humanity the Science of being and the possibility of its demonstration.
