It is eleven years since Christian Science was brought into my home. With it came a wonderful calm, and a courage that is indescribable.

Our son, who at that time was about eight years old, had from the time of his birth been considered a delicate child, having suffered from bowel and stomach trouble. The doctor was a steady visitor in our home, and we took the boy twice a week to an osteopath for treatments. Through the loving help of a friend, and at her recommendation, I placed our son and daughter in the Christian Science Sunday School and attended church myself. That week we gave up the diet, discarded all material remedies, and began the earnest study of Christian Science. The boy was completely healed, and has since had many proofs of the healing power of Truth.

Our demonstrations of the ever-presence of divine Love have been numerous. We have proved the truth physically, financially, and in many other ways.

A condition of the ear, which had caused me a great deal of unhappiness from my early childhood, was met and destroyed by my constantly dwelling in thought upon the allness of God.

One evening, upon arriving home, I discovered that a pin I value very much was gone. For a few seconds, I became quite upset, but was aroused by the thought that I was not acting in accord with what I knew. I went quietly into my room and asked God to direct my way. In a few minutes it was as if a voice said, "Go outside." I took a box of matches, and as I went out of the door I struck one, but the wind immediately blew it out. I walked on, and when I reached the driveway, I stooped down and struck another, and directly under that lighted match lay my pin. I was indeed grateful for this experience, because it taught me that as we listen for the "still small voice" we are rightly directed.

I am grateful for the privilege of teaching in the Sunday school, and I am very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for her unselfed love in giving to the world Christian Science.
