After pondering for a year Christ Jesus' words, "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled," I was divinely led to read the Christian Science literature, and my yearning for good was satisfied.
For twenty-two years God has been my Physician. As I have understood more of my relationship to God, sicknesses have disappeared; after many years of attacks of hemorrhoids, I was healed; hay fever, also, left me.
Christian Science has answered my every question in bringing up three children. Once, when my baby was choking and turning purple, I declared "the scientific statement of being" (Science and Health, p. 468), and the baby soon recovered. Holding to the one Mind has helped the children to learn their lessons in school and pass their examinations. With practitioners' help I have overcome sorrow and sickness, and am learning to see man as God's image and likeness. This realization gives me great happiness.
