ANNOUNCEMENTS
TENETS OF THE MOTHER CHURCH
The printed Tenets of The Mother Church are in general use by branch churches and societies, either as a basis for their application forms for admission to membership or for binding into their by-law booklets.
Because the Tenets are copyrighted, branch organizations may not have them printed for their own use. The correct procedure is to order from the Clerk of The Mother Church the quantity desired, and then have a local printer add whatever data are necessary to the individual requirements of the branch organizations.
The Tenets are printed in two sizes. The large size measures approximately 5 x 8 inches, and is generally used by the branch organizations as a basis for their membership blanks. The small size measures approximately 4 x 6 inches, and is used chiefly for binding into by-law booklets.
Translations of the Tenets, having alternate pages in English, may be procured in German, French, Italian, and Polish.
Prices for Tenets, either for English or for translations, are as follows:
Lots of 100—either size $ .75
Lots of 100—50 large and 50 small .75
Lots of 50—either size .50
Unless otherwise specified, the large size will be sent. Minimum orders are for lots of 50 Tenets.
Remittances should be made payable and sent with orders to Ezra W. Palmer, Clerk, 107 Falmouth Street, Boston, Massachusetts.
FROM THE CHURCH TREASURER
Per Capita Tax, as provided in the Church Manual, Article VIII, Section 13, is due annually from "every member of The Mother Church," and "shall be forwarded each year to the Church Treasurer." When remitting, please inform the Treasurer of any change in your permanent address and state year of admission to membership.

Articles, Poems, and Testimonies
The Christian Science Publishing Society accepts religious articles and religious poems only from members of The Mother Church. Religious articles and religious poems intended for the Journal, Sentinel, or Monitor should be sent to the Journal, Sentinel, and Herald Editorial Department, One, Norway Street, Boston, Massachusetts. Preferably, contributors should correspond for themselves. A memorandum for contributors of religious articles and poems can be obtained from this department by request.
Convincing testimonies of Christian Science healing are also desired. Each testimony should be verified by three members of The Mother Church who either know of the healing or can vouch for the integrity of the testifier. If, however, the testifier is not acquainted with three members of The Mother Church, his affidavit may be sufficient; but in this case he shold, if possible, obtain verification from one or two members of The Mother Church. The testifier himself should obtain the verifications, duly signed by the verifiers, and submit them with the testimony. Complete addresses of the testifier and those who vouch for him should always be furnished.
Source of Quotations
Contributors to the periodicals of articles, poems, and testimonies are asked to note that the source of all quotations, direct or indirect, should be given. The name of the author and of the work from which any quotation is taken, together with the page, should be specified.

"Christ My Refuge" in New Illuminated Volume
With deep appreciation of the healing message in the poems by Mrs. Eddy used as hymns in the Christian Science Hymnal, the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy announce the publication in book form of the much-loved hymn
"Christ My Refuge"
conjoining the Science expressed in the hymn with the richness of illuminative art.
The book is printed in four colors and gold on heavy cameo art stock, beautifully encased in an embossed cover rich in red and gold on a cream cloth. It is jacketed in glassine paper for protection, and enclosed in an attractive linen-finish paper box.

De Luxe Edition of Science and Health in New Binding
For some time there have been many requests for our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, in a De Luxe Edition with brown cover, similar in size and style to the De Luxe Edition which is now available in black and blue bindings.
We can now supply this book bound in the autumn brown antique stipple grain morocco, which we have all come to admire. Bound by hand and printed on a new white paper with the wide margins, it is a book we can recommend to those who want a very beautiful volume.
This new De Luxe Edition of the textbook, with brown morocco cover, lists for $6.00, and the Reading Room price is $5.40.
Will Librarians please change the concluding paragraph on page 8 of their August, 1938, Reading Room Catalogue of Mrs. Eddy's works to show that the De Luxe Edition of Science and Health is now published in black, brown, and blue.
Cloth Pocket Church Manual
In response to many requests from the Field, the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy have authorized the publication of a Cloth Pocket edition of the Church Manual, in blue and in brown, to match the Sunday School edition of Science and Health and the Cloth Pocket editions of Mrs. Eddy's other writings.
Reports from the Field indicate that pupils in our Sunday schools are buying the dollar editions of "Miscellaneous Writings," "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany," "Unity of Good and Other Writings," and "Christian Healing and Other Writings." In order that they may possess all of our Leader's writings in the Cloth Pocket series, the Church Manual in this form is now published.
This edition of the Manual takes the place of the old Cloth edition, which has been discontinued. List price $1.00; Reading Room price 90 cents.
Librarians are requested to record this edition in the Catalogue of Mrs. Eddy's Works on file in all Reading Rooms.

A mailing card bearing the "Daily Prayer" from the Church Manual is now published by the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy. It is printed in four colors by the offset process. Aside from beauty of color and artistic treatment of the subject, the clarity of the hand-lettered text is distinctive.
Printed on white vellum, each card is enclosed in a white envelope ready for mailing. List price 10 cents; Reading Room price 8 cents. It is desirable that an order should call for not less than ten cards. When ordering the card, please designate it as No. 4C.
