Christ Jesus perfectly demonstrated how good operates in individual experience. He taught mankind how to utilize the goodness and power of one infinite and ever-present God. This has been proved to me in many ways since I took up the study of Christian Science, which was given to the world by its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy.

Having attended the Greek Orthodox Church, I was at one time not only opposed to Christian Science, but was very antagonistic to those who practiced it. In other words, I behaved as did Saul, who persecuted the Christians of old because he did not understand the meaning and purpose of Christianity. But the light of Christ, Truth, shone upon him, and the voice from heaven called to him, saying, "Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?" When, at length, Saul was fully awakened to the truth, he was able to understand God's creation, including His idea, the real man. The same Christ, Truth, has awakened me from the mortal dream to seek the truth of being.

Some of my wife's relatives had enrolled our little boy in the Christian Science Sunday School. Since it was my duty to take him to church every Sunday, I wanted to know something about Christian Science and its application. Then I began to study and go to church, and with my own efforts and the assistance of a loving Christian Science practitioner, I was able to see the great light of Truth. We have had many beautiful experiences in our home, such as healings of sickness and broken arms, the solving of financial problems, and the demonstration of supply. Our greatest blessings, however, has been the realization of the ever-presence of our Father-Mother, God.
