Two of the workers on our committee report that they have been greeted on the street by former inmates, whom they did not at first recognize, and thanked for the help received through our services in the institutions.

Workers continue to express gratitude for the spiritual uplift they have received while serving on this committee.

We are grateful to advise that through the loving cooperation of the Christian Science Committee for Work in the Prisons in the State of New York, all of the workers — five in number — now conducting the Christian Science services at New Hampton Reformatory, are members of churches adjacent to the prison. This is a New York City reformatory, located on the west side of the Hudson River, about sixty miles north of the George Washington Bridge.

A Christian Science lecture will shortly be given at the Penitentiary of the City of New York on Rikers Island.
