The Lectures

Introductions to Lectures

Boston, Massachusetts (The Mother Church).

Lecturer: William Duncan Kilpatrick; introduced by Miss Margaret Morrison, who said:—

The giving of a Christian Science lecture is an important event in the history of the world, because it sets forth the Science which alone can save the world. Into a world which finds itself greatly in the grasp of the destructive elements of so-called material science, which finds itself largely motivated by fear and consequent hate and greed, there goes forth from a Christian Science lecture a statement of the Science of Spirit, the Science of the Christ, whose might of meekness and love remains, throughout the ages, inviolate in its omnipotence. Jesus said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away."
