When I was sick in mind and body, and unutterably depressed, Christian Science was brought to my notice by a dear relative, who had proved its efficacy.

Before I became interested in Science, a verdict had been passed upon me by two leading physicians which had cast me into the slough of despond. Childbirth had nearly cost me my life, and my baby had lived only for a few moments. All this occurred more than twelve years ago. Since then I have relied on Christian Science to meet our every need. I had Science treatment at the birth of our two daughters, now aged ten and six years respectively. No doctor was in attendance, and the birth of our younger daughter was practically painless.

That Christian Science, when faithfully applied, meets every human need has been amply proved in our home, in domestic problems, scholastic needs, and physical ailments.
