True Witnessing

"THOU shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people... Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord" (Lev. 19:16-18). "Obedience to Truth gives man power and strength" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 183).

A little girl, who had just been advanced into a new grade in school, came home very much troubled. She had been so happy over the promotion and had been eager to meet the new teacher and make new friends, but something had seemed to dim her happy expectancy.

"Mother," she began, "what do you do about a very, very cross teacher?" Having been a pupil in a Christian Science Sunday School for several years, she knew that there must be something she should do. Her mother was grateful for that clear thinking in a little girl, not yet seven.
