With joy I bear witness to a few of the countless proofs...

With joy I bear witness to a few of the countless proofs I have had of God's absolute goodness. I have had the great privilege of being a student in a Christian Science Sunday School. Here I learned to value Christian Science, to love the Bible, and adore Truth. Many healings have resulted, usually with the help of a practitioner, but sometimes through my own understanding.

At one time I was deeply hurt by the rudeness of a young woman who seemed to entertain a great dislike for me. I took "Miscellaneous Writings" by Mrs. Eddy, and read the article entitled, "Love Your Enemies." As I read, I realized that I had for some time been seeing a false image, and I was enabled to replace this false thinking with the true concept. An immediate and permanent healing took place, and I gained a sincere and valued friend.

When my twin sister was married, I was healed of a sense of loss and enabled to gain a better comprehension of my true individuality. I have been healed of deep grief at the passing on of loved ones. These demonstrations were marvelous experiences.

I am most grateful for the healing of acne of eight years' duration. I was healed of ptomaine poisoning in one night. In a few hours I was completely healed of a badly sprained ankle. My pets have experienced numerous healings, and I am thankful for the practitioners who answered the calls for help for them.

A happy home and loving family are blessings for which to thank God. Class instruction and church membership are precious gifts of Spirit. I love our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the magnitude of her work for mankind, and for teaching us to follow Christ Jesus, the Ensample. Through lessons learned I have come to esteem the name Mary Baker Eddy, for it is inseparable from authentic and divine metaphysics.
