In gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for giving to the world Christian Science, which meets all human needs, I give this testimony. In 1932, through the advice of a practitioner, I procured "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy and started to read it. At first, although I thought it very wonderful, it conveyed little to me, but the more I read the more I understood. It can help in any difficulty that arises.

We are a very small family, and a friend joins us in our home every Sunday to hold a service according to the Manual of The Mother Church, and I study the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly every day. All this is very helpful to me. I can never express enough gratitude for the numerous healings I have had.

The first healing was of trouble with my right arm. It became so stiff that I could hardly use it. It had been treated by a doctor, but got no better. I have, however, had no more trouble with it since I realized that everything God made is perfect. Another healing was that of an eruption of the skin, called ringworm, which a doctor had treated for years without any good result. Christian Science is a wonderful help in finding anything that may be lost. It is also a great help and comfort in times of accidents to realize that since God is ever present, there, in reality, can be no power or presence other than His. As Mrs. Eddy says (Science and Health, p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need."
