Sunday School Notes and Comments

A pupil was eager to go to a certain college to prepare herself for special work which she liked, and for which she showed aptitude. There was nothing at home to encourage her to make the effort; in fact, at that time the Sunday school was providing her with carfare. She was told how to work in Christian Science, how to understand God's law of progress, and thus to overcome the belief of lack. She was given references along these lines and was encouraged to keep working, even when there seemed no good prospects. But no work was done for her; and she knew this. She is now in her second year of college, and it would be hard to find a more radiantly confident young student of Christian Science.
