In Quietness and Confidence

THOMAS LOVATT WILLIAMS

Be still and know
That through the coming day,
Whatever may arise,
God is your strength and stay.

Be still and know
That in the darkest night
No power can ever quench
Truth's omnipresent light.

Be still and hear,
Whenever doubt assails,
That small, sure voice of Truth,
Whose comfort never fails.
