Christian Science has transformed my life from sickness, fear, and lack into that truer sense of life of which Jesus spoke, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." This transformation has brought health, peace, and some realization of the "perfect love [which] casteth out fear."

My heart is filled with gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who lived so close to God that she was enabled to give us the Comforter, in fulfillment of Christ Jesus' promise, "The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." Mrs. Eddy discovered the law of healing which Jesus demonstrated, and set it forth in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."

This law has been proved in my experience by the healing of a double curvature of the spine, headaches, pyorrhea, and nervous indigestion, and has enabled me to experience good health for more than twenty years. Christian Science has corrected traits of character which were causes of discord in our home, and has thus evidenced God's law of harmony.

In our home, I have seen paralysis healed in two weeks; inactivity of the kidneys healed in one half-hour; and gallstones removed. My husband was healed instantaneously of a rupture, and, in about two weeks, of blood poisoning (septic infection) in his hand. During the last experience he suffered pain only twice for a few minutes. The hand opened in three places for a natural drainage. These healings are proofs that Christian Science reveals the law of God to us.

My gratitude for the understanding of God and His law, which brings a spiritual inspiration beyond any material gain, can be expressed only by my showing forth Godlike qualities in my life.

The unique form of government of The Mother Church, which was given by our inspired Leader, is cause for gratitude, since it protects the Cause and makes Christian Science available throughout the world. For each one who is helping in this great Cause, I give thanks.
