In a recent issue of Y Cymro, reference was made to Christian Scientists, coupling them with sects with which they have no connection.

For the information of your readers, therefore, I should like to say that Christian Science is essentially Christian. It was discovered by Mary Baker Eddy in 1866, when she was healed by spiritual means after an accident which her physician apprehended might be fatal. This led her to study the Holy Scriptures more earnestly than ever, and as a result of this study and the revelation coming therefrom, she has given to the world the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."
