Increasing One's Purchasing Power

At the present time much is being said concerning increasing one's purchasing power. The trend of the world's thought is to find some way whereby all may obtain the comforts of living to which the average person feels he is entitled.

In turning to Christ Jesus, our great Way-shower, who was able to see more clearly than anyone else that the primary cause of lack, limitation, and poverty, which necessarily have resulted in poor living conditions, is mental, we find him declaring: "Seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.... But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you."

Clearly does Jesus bring forth the fact that there is only one right way to destroy poverty, namely, by gaining an understanding of God as divine Mind, and knowing that He gives us His spiritual ideas to meet our human needs.
