I thank our Father-Mother God with all my heart that I have learned of Christian Science. Through it we have received many blessings, because it is applicable to every situation. After many years of suffering which the doctors could not analyze, I had an operation. It was ascertained that there was a growth between the womb and rectum. Where they could not operate they gave X-ray treatment, which caused me much pain. Later there was a second operation, and two months afterwards further radium treatment was planned. But at the last moment I heard of the glorious Christ Science, and remained quietly at home. Indeed, I have often been privileged to see that "man's extremity is God's opportunity."

The healing, however, came about only when I decided to take no more medicine and studied hungrily the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Thus working out the problem earnestly with the kind practitioner, I was completely healed within three weeks. All my relatives and friends were surprised at my good health, because according to human opinion I had been hopelessly ill. Now I am as if newborn. It is my desire that all mankind may know the truth about God, and man created in His image and likeness. I give thanks for the indispensable textbook, for The Herald of Christian Science (German edition), the glorious lectures, the Wednesday evening testimony meetings, the Sunday services, and the Sunday school.
