With deep gratitude I want to add my testimony to the many that go out through the Christian Science literature and our Wednesday evening meetings. Twenty years ago last April, I attended my first Christian Science church service.

Several years ago I had a lump in my breast. Perhaps it was serious, perhaps not, but I was sorely afraid it was becoming malignant. We consulted several doctors, and I was finally operated upon. About four months later I was in such a condition I could not eat, sleep, or rest at all. Naprapathic treatments were advised and taken for six months. Nothing helped, and I was in a worse condition than before and fast becoming a nervous wreck.

One afternoon when things were at their worst, a lady came to see me. She must have seen my need, for she began telling me about an experience in her family. Her niece, then a small child, had been healed of mastoiditis. Seeing my interest, she told me of several other healings she personally knew. Before she left we had arranged that I should see a Christian Science practitioner.
