A Song of Gratitude

Each morn to Thee, O God, we raise
A song of joyfulness and praise.
For restful nights and active days,
We bless Thee, Lord.

For sin forgiven, because destroyed,
For health and vigor unalloyed,
For Love which fills life's erstwhile void,
We bless Thee, Lord.

For endless good Thou dost bestow,
Our gratitude doth overflow;
For Truth, which through the Word we know,
We bless Thee, Lord.

For joyousness replacing gloom,
For peace which doth from Spirit bloom,
Life woven on Thy perfect loom,
We bless Thee, Lord.

For power to help another's need,
In hallowed ground to sow the seed,
With love uphold the bending reed,
We bless Thee, Lord.
