Sincere gratitude for what Christian Science has done...

Sincere gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me prompts this testimony. Also, the desire to give encouragement to anyone seeking freedom from the bonds of mortal mind's false beliefs.

I was led to Christian Science after doctors had promised no permanent relief from what they had pronounced nervous exhaustion, for which I had been under medical treatment for two years. I was unable to attend to my duties as general manager of my company and was advised to seek a change of climate and surroundings, which I did. Every kindness and sincere effort was extended to me by the several doctors I consulted; yet, at the end of two years, my condition seemed worse than when I first sought medical aid.

I heard of the healing of an acquaintance through Christian Science, and this induced me to seek the healing power of Truth. I am happy and thankful to state that after the first treatment by an earnest and consecrated practitioner, I was able to resume my duties and have continued my regular activities, with few interruptions, for the past eight years.
