There can be no doubt as to the earnest, sincere traveler ultimately finding and definitely knowing the right way to salvation, for that godly man of old, Isaiah, tells us, "And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left."

On page 465 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, is this specific definition of God: "God is incorporeal, divine, supreme, infinite Mind, Spirit, Soul, Principle, Life, Truth, Love." And a few lines farther on is this comment: "The attributes of God are justice, mercy, wisdom, goodness, and so on."

Here we have, briefly, the Christian Science concept of God. The opening words of the Preface to the Christian Science textbook bespeak a kind, beneficent, loving Father, "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings." On page 494 we read, "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." Thus we find the Christian Science concept of God in exact accord with the Scriptural references to Him as kind and loving, One who is "of purer eyes than to behold evil," and the Giver of "every good gift and every perfect gift."
