Jesus said, "This is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." I am grateful that as students of Christian Science we are proving true and usable today the words of our blessed Master by healing the sick and sinning.

Through the help of a practitioner I have been healed of inflammatory rheumatism in a severe form. At the time, it seemed necessary for me to be taken to the home of a practitioner. Before going to this home I had been unable to sit up, and had been confined to my bed for four weeks. Upon arriving, after a drive of more than a hundred miles, I was not put to bed, nor was I weary. The practitioner explained to me that God had not bound His children with any erroneous beliefs of sin, disease, or death; that the law of God is the law of freedom from bondage, and that I could not be bound to my bed by any condition, nor could anything prevent my being free and happy.

During my first week in this home I was able to attend church. Within two weeks I returned to my home completely healed.
