A letter in your issue of January 7 has just come to my notice, in which a clergyman states his views on Christian Science and its Discoverer.

I have followed the previous correspondence carefully, and venture to think that tolerance and Christianity will solve the clergyman's difficulties sooner than any doctrinal argument.

If he does not agree with the teaching of Christian Science, I feel sure he will be willing to accord freedom of conscience to others who find in Christian Science the solace and comfort, healing, and peace which are so characteristic of the teachings of Christ Jesus.
