In the Manual of The Mother Church (Art. VIII, Sect. 24), under the caption "Testimonials," our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, gives us this admonition: "'Glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's' (St. Paul)." It is a privilege and joy to express in this way my gratitude for all that Christian Science has done and is doing for me.

Several years ago I was stricken with a nervous breakdown of such severity that my sanity was fast becoming despaired of. In this condition I was taken to a hospital for examination, and it was decided that immediate removal of a goiter, believed by the physicians to be the cause, would relieve me of the trouble. This was done, and for a while I did seem to relieved, but in less than a year the condition returned with even more torment and suffering. Knowing that I had some knowledge of Christian Science and that previous to this experience I had been helped by its teachings, loving friends came and talked to me, and I decided to rely entirely on God and Christian Science to help me. Several weeks passed with on seeming benefit until one day I was directed to a Christian Science practitioner, who was spiritually minded enough to free me instantaneously, and I left her home healed.

Since that experience I have constantly received many blessings and healings from the daily study and application of the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly and all of our Leader's writings and the periodicals. Recently at the passing on of a dearly loved mother, I was sustained and comforted by the understanding Christian Science had given me. There can be no separation between God and His idea, man.
