I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings received through the application of Christian Science.

Forty years ago my wife was ill with hemorrhoids. She received no help form the prescription the doctor left, and Christian Science was brought to her attention through a friend. Treatment was given, and a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy was left for us to read. I read nearly all night and was greatly helped. My wife was completely healed.

My first healing was of quinsy sore throat, which I had had every year for some time. This was healed in one treatment. Another time, I was holding a stake, to be driven by another man, when it slipped and the heavy sledge struck my hand, apparently crushing the bones. The glove was pounded into the wound and had to be cut off. I again asked for Christian Science help, and in a few days was back at work, using my hand freely.
