Although I have received many blessings through Christian Science...
Although I have received many blessings through Christian Science in the many years since I became interested in this wonderful teaching, there is one incident that is outstanding in connection with it, and I am happy to testify to an almost miraculous healing.
About five years ago, while crossing a street, I was struck by an automobile. I was taken to a hospital, where X rays showed that six bones were broken: three ribs, collarbone, shoulder blade, and pelvis. In my first lucid moments I had a friend telephone a practitioner, who began work at once, with the result that all the breaks became adjusted and no setting of bones was necessary. My healing was very rapid, and after about five weeks I was discharged from the hospital and began to walk again. The quick recovery was considered especially unusual because of advanced years, which are supposed to make it more difficult.
For this healing and many others, and for the faithful, unselfish, kindly help of the practitioner, I shall feel forever grateful.
