Christian Science is to me the "pearl of great price"...

Christian Science is to me the "pearl of great price" spoken of in the thirteenth chapter of Matthew. It is God's gift to all humanity. I am very grateful to my creator for guiding me to this truth. I also rejoice in living in an age which enables me to learn to love God and my fellow man, "for Love alone is Life" (Poems by Mrs. Eddy, p. 7).

My wife was an invalid suffering from inflammatory rheumatism when a friend told her of Christian Science. She bought and studied the Bible, Science and Health, and the Christian Science Quarterly. Treatments were given by a practitioner in a near-by city, and in less than one month she was doing her housework.

This healing aroused my curiosity, and when my wife borrowed a copy of "The Life of Mary Baker Eddy" by Sibyl Wilbur, I read it with great interest. This illuminating work convinced me that Christian Science was the one truth.
