With a deep sense of gratitude, I should like to tell a few of the blessings which have come to me in Christian Science.
As a child I desired to know God, and at an early age I joined an orthodox church, of which my parents were devout members.
In 1922 I lost my husband and found myself very much depressed and burdened with financial difficulties.
It would be impossible to express in words the deep gratitude I feel for what Christian Science has done for me in the past twenty-five years.
My first healing has always seemed to me beautiful and wonderful, because at the time I knew nothing of Christian Science, except that it was a religion which claimed to heal.
It is with a deep sense of gratitude to God, to our dear Master, Christ Jesus, and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, that I testify to the healing and regenerating power of Christian Science, which has met all my needs, physical and mental, for the last seventeen years.
