Glad Tidings of Great Joy

I have a secret,
A wonderful secret to share with you.
It is about my Father, who is King
O'er all the earth.

There is joy in my secret,
Great joy for all who are weary and heavy laden.
And you may tell my secret—
You may tell your brother whose heart is heavy,
And your sister bowed down with grief,
That our ever-loving Father
Invites them into His kingdom
To share in its abundance.

There is work in His kingdom,
Joyous activity!
Children of the Father,
Reflecting His goodness,
Going forward
Singing with gladness,
Learning each day a little more
Of the blessings of divine, infinite Love,
And sharing their understanding
One with another.

Let us arise;
Let us arise and go unto our Father;
Let us knock at the gates of His kingdom,
At the gates of jasper and pearl;
Let us enter into the consciousness
Of ever-present, eternal, unchanging Love,
To dwell with Him as rightful heirs
To His kingdom forevermore!
