In Isaiah we read, "And a little child shall lead them." A boy told me of Christian Science, and I traveled for an hour early one Sunday morning to find a Christian Science church. My first impression was wonderful; everybody looked so happy and healthy. My burden left me. Three days later the boy's mother brought me a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. The word "key" appealed to me very much. I read almost continually each night for three nights. That "key" opened the door. I was newborn; and the joy and healing which I experienced cannot be described in words.

A doctor had been coming weekly to see me. I told him that I needed him no longer. I have been healed of kidney trouble, fear, toothaches, colds, sprained ankle, and lack of concentration, and with these healings my hearing improved very much. I also witnessed a healing of my husband of broken ribs. I could not read or speak English then, and I was deeply grateful that Science and Health had been translated into the German language. I am also grateful for the Monitor and all our literature, for the revised Hymnal and the lectures; for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, and for the privilege of serving. May all mankind find Christian Science and be at peace. I am deeply grateful to God, the Giver of all good; to our dear Master, Christ Jesus; and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
