WHEN
a student of Christian Science begins to experience, even in a small degree, the blessings which come from studying the Bible and Mrs.

HOW
often in human affairs does one who seems to excel in starting some activity lack the ability to bring such work to a successful finish, owing perhaps to a belief of mental stagnation, procrastination, or the seeming lack of right ideas.
When naming various groups of people who do not use material means for healing, a contributor to the May 22 issue of your paper referred to those groups as including "Christian Science and other types of faith healing.
It is again necessary that certain inaccurate statements expressed in the letter of your correspondent in your issue of August 17 should be corrected.
In the article "Medicine and Superstition" published in the supplement of Der Bund of April 25, the author writes of the "dull consciousness of the healing power of suggestion, to which Coue and Christian Science owe their success.
Although nine letters of correction had to be written during the year, as compared with seven in the previous year, five were duplicate letters to different papers refuting a statement, made by two medical men, that Christian Science was akin to magic.
Pray every day for Love Divine to leave you not to be tempted or yield to temptation in any direction, and to give you grace and wisdom each day to know and to do just what God would have you.
