I wish to express gratitude for Christian Science
I wish to express gratitude for Christian Science. In October, 1929, I was cured of the tobacco habit of over twenty-seven years' duration, through the pure love expressed by a practitioner who was treating my daughter. I have never had a desire to use tobacco since.
My daughter feared that I was not in sympathy with her taking up Christian Science, as I was ignorant of its blessings; but my wife and I went to visit her in November, 1929, and while there we attended a Christian Science church. Then we knew that our daughter was right, that she was leading the way for us. We were all lovers of the Bible and belonged to an orthodox church, but it did not seem to satisfy our longing, so we had drifted away from going to church, except on rare occasions.
Christian Science was truly our Comforter in the passing on of a loved one. Words cannot express the peace of mind and the love I have enjoyed through the study of this Science. It has brought harmony into our home, and love for our neighbor. Chronic constipation and violent headaches, experienced since childhood, have disappeared. I have not taken a drug during my study of Christian Science, and I am in the best of health.
