Deep gratitude for Christian Science compels me to write this testimony. For many years I was subject to ill health, I underwent two operations, and was under the care of many doctors. Other churches could not help me through the storms and shocks of existence, and they did not give me that "peace of God, which passeth all understanding."

Since coming into Christian Science I have come through motor accidents uninjured, thus demonstrating the protection of eternal Love. The hymn from the Christian Science Hymnal beginning "Press on, dear traveler" has helped me many times when the storms of persecution have seemed severe. I am indeed grateful to Mrs. Eddy for her loyalty in following divine guidance by so patiently writing Science and Health for tired humanity's sake.

One day I was attacked with pains all over my body, and I began to let fear into my thought. I then asked God for a healing message, and these words immediately came to my help: "Peace, perfect peace." I then realized that no discord or pain could possibly exist where these thoughts from divine Love held sway; and soon both fear and pain were gone, and the healing was complete.
