Greenwich, Connecticut (First Church).—The new Christian Science church building, the first to be owned and constructed by the Greenwich branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, opened its doors Wednesday evening, August 1, for the regular Wednesday testimonial meeting at 8.15 o'clock, to which the public was invited.

The first floor auditorium has been completed and will be used each Sunday morning from 9.30 until 10.30 o'clock for the Sunday school, and at 11 o'clock for the church service. An attractive colonial tower and belfry will be constructed in keeping with the building.

Contributions of money for the building came from grateful adherents of the faith and from interested friends. It is expected that the entire structure will be completed in the near future.
