I wish to express my gratitude for the great help and many blessings I have received through Christian Science. At the time this great truth was presented to me I accepted it not so much for its healing power as for the great help it gave me in a time of lack in my home. Through the study of this Science I am learning to know that nothing is impossible to God, and that our Father-Mother God is a very present help in every trouble. Our Leader says in Science and Health (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need."

I am very grateful for the healing of my youngest daughter. From birth she suffered from constipation, which was always followed by convulsions. This continued for five years, and the doctor said he did not know what to do next. After commencing to study Christian Science I was told by a friend that there was a practitioner in our island. I went to see her and asked for help. She very lovingly said that she would help my daughter, and that as a child of God my daughter was free from all discord. I returned home with my fear dispelled. That was over two years ago, and she is free, not only from that, but from the law held over her that she must always wear shoes and socks, the latter even at night. She can now run about with other children without shoes and socks, in wet or dry weather. She is indeed free and well, and for this I am very grateful to God, and to that blessed woman, Mary Baker Eddy, who gave us this beautiful teaching; to the practitioner, and to the friend who first told me about Christian Science.—(Mrs.) Nellie Butler, Port of Spain, Trinidad, British West Indies.
