I wish to express deep gratitude for the wonderful healing Christian Science has brought to me. Over two years ago I was in a hospital undergoing treatment for diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart trouble. After everything was done for me by medical science, I was sent home as incurable. The doctors told my husband that they had done all they could for me, and that the end was only a short time off. I was confined to my room for six months, growing weaker all the time, and could hardly walk across the room.

My brother, who had been interested in Christian Science for years, wished me to have Science treatment; but my husband, being a member of an orthodox church, would not listen to it. Continuing to grow weaker, I finally decided to discard all material aid and try Christian Science. It was certainly proved to me that "man's extremity is God's opportunity." A practitioner began work for me and after two days' absent treatment came to visit me, which was on a Thursday. She turned my thought to Proverbs 3:5, 6: "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." The following Saturday she visited me again, and on Sunday I was able to go downstairs. which I had not done for six months. I continued to improve, and on the following Sunday went to church. Thereafter I improved rapidly and was completely healed, being in better health than I had known for years.

In addition to the physical healing, I am deeply grateful for the wonderful understanding of my relationship to God, and for the peace and spiritual uplifting received at the church services, which I attend regularly. I can truthfully say I am being reborn.
