It is every Christian Scientist's earnest desire to think...
It is every Christian Scientist's earnest desire to think Godlike thoughts and to do God's will. As we discern and recognize God's will, we progress peacefully on the road to the full realization of man as the perfect reflection of the divine Principle, Love. Each new problem to be solved should be met with joy that we have another opportunity to prove our ceaseless trust in God and the omnipotence of the powerful truth that heals all mankind.
It is only as I have realized this truth that I have been able, confidently and with unwavering faith, to meet and solve the many problems that have confronted me. Physical healings have been only a part of them. A severe catarrhal condition requiring daily medical relief before I retired, in order that I might breathe, has been thoroughly healed; grippe, ptomaine poisoning, and headaches have also been healed. I experienced an instantaneous healing of a very high fever, which was becoming delirium, when help was sought from a practitioner; also a severe case of tonsillitis was healed within a few minutes of the time the practitioner was called. Words cannot tell of the many other ways that God has been my Guide and Comforter. Christian Science has helped me to find my right place in God's plan, and to meet and overcome each discordant condition that has presented itself, with all concerned benefiting thereby.
I wish to express deep gratitude for having been able to attend Sunday school and also for the patient and loving guidance of a practitioner. Sincerely I can say that these words have been fully proved: "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
