Signs of the Times
[From the Evening Democrat, Fort Madison, Iowa]
We should be grateful to Stevenson for his helpful statement: "You cannot run away from weakness; you must sometime fight it out or perish; and if that be so, why not now and where you stand?"
Mankind is prone to run away from problems. One who has profited by his various experiences knows full well that this cannot be done. Problems are to be solved, not ignored; while obstacles are to be overcome, not escaped.
