Over four years ago I had a severe nervous breakdown. At the time I knew little or nothing about Christian Science, except that its teaching seemed very beautiful and appealed to me. I was too ill even to think for myself and so a practitioner was asked to work for me. I am very grateful to him, and also for the love and kindness of those in the house where I was staying.

Once a sprained ankle gave me some trouble before it was overcome. Turning my ankle quickly on a very rough road, I went sprawling, scattering all over the road the lovely flowers and ferns I was carrying. I was so cross that I could not think of anything else, and so error had the first inning, but Truth was victorious in the end.

Another beautiful and instantaneous healing took place at one of our Sunday evening church services. The peace of that evening service was beyond measure, and the severe cold from which I was suffering completely left me by the termination of the service. It is a joy to be able to attend church services again, for I have lived in the country, many miles from any Christian Scientists.
