Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

It is a pleasure to report that nothing unfriendly to Christian Science has been noted in the local newspapers, although the three English dailies have been covered for the entire year. Our lecture on Christian Science was well advertised and a one-thousand-word report appeared in the Manila Daily Bulletin. A short article entitled "Work for the Blind" describing a new Braille pamphlet called "Perception," which was added to the Christian Science Reading Room, was published in the Manila Daily Bulletin. This article caused a Red Cross worker kindly to offer to translate some other authorized literature into Braille for the Reading Room. We appreciate the friendly contact.

Each Saturday, under the caption "What the Ministers are Saying," the Manila Daily Bulletin prints the subject of our Lesson-Sermon, its Golden Text, and citations from the Bible reading from the Christian Science Quarterly. The same paper also prints our church notice each week.

The Tribune of Manila, under its "Church Services," gives a weekly notice of our Sunday school and church services and states the subject of the Lesson-Sermon and its Golden Text. It also prints a notice of our Reading Room.
