Christian Science is the religion of Christ Jesus and includes the practice by its adherents of the healing work which marked the earthly career of the Founder of Christianity, and which he promised his followers would likewise do in destroying sickness as well as sin.
In the Telegraph of September 29 reference was made to Christian Science, your correspondent classing it with spiritualism.

It is a pleasure to report that nothing unfriendly to Christian Science has been noted in the local newspapers, although the three English dailies have been covered for the entire year.

Before I became interested in Christian Science, I visited churches of all denominations, but I could not seem to gain any understanding of God.
I should like to express my deepest gratitude for the healing power of Christian Science.
Eighteen years ago, when in distress about a bodily condition, and afraid of an operation which seemed unavoidable, I was reminded by a friend that instead of rushing headlong into an operation it might be wiser to look into Christian Science.
In appreciation of the years during which I have received blessings through Christian Science, and in great gratitude for the many proofs I have had of the operation of God's law of good in times of sickness and distress, I send this testimony.
Over four years ago I had a severe nervous breakdown.
For twenty years Christian Science has brought me peace, comfort, and healing; increasingly so, when I have learned to see and understand that the time spent in the working out of problems is a growing time, which adds to my store of blessings.

I did not come into Christian Science for a physical healing.
In gratitude to God for the ways which He has used to bring humanity out of material mists into an understanding of Himself, and for the blessings which I have received from some understanding of Him, I wish to give this testimony.
Christian Science has proved such a great blessing to me that I want to express some of my gratitude for its daily comfort and help.
