I did not come into Christian Science for a physical healing

I did not come into Christian Science for a physical healing. It was first presented to me about six years ago, in a time of financial distress. Through the help of a Christian Science practitioner this problem was quickly solved. A piece of real estate was disposed of for a price that was almost unbelievable for that period.

Prior to this healing I was very antagonistic to what I believed Christian Science to be. By applying the little knowledge that I possess of this Science, I have been wonderfully sustained physically and financially. Also I have been healed of the tobacco habit, and of the need of wearing glasses which had been worn for sixteen years.

I am extremely grateful for all that Christian Science is doing for me and for all mankind; grateful to God, the Giver of all good; to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower; and to Mary Baker Eddy, who has given us the textbook, whereby we are all able to interpret the Scriptures; and for the wonderful help of the practitioners.
