The editorial in the Reporter of September 8, entitled "Faith Healing," carries a reference to Christian Science which reads, "Christian Science, a religion of pure faith, has many cures to its credit, and these simply represent the conquest of mind over flesh."

In the interest of better understanding and reconciliation of thought may I say that the sick are healed in Christian Science not through a blind faith, but through knowing that disease, which appears only in a sense of existence separate from Life, or God, is not of God, and consequently has no Principle or Truth to support it.

Speaking to certain of the Athenians concerning their worship of an unknown God, Paul said: "Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. ... For in him we live, and move, and have our being."
