"Church of the Air" talk over Columbia Broadcasting System by George T. Nelson,—October 21, 1934.

The station announcer made the statement: "This is the Church of the Air. The Christian Science program today is coming to you from Station WABC in New York, and is approved by The Christian Science Board of Directors of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, in Boston, Massachusetts. The broadcast is conducted by George T. Nelson, C.S., a former First Reader of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Brooklyn. The subject of Mr. Nelson's address is 'Christian Science Reveals Man the of God.' The soloist is Carrie S. Hirsh."

Two hymns from the Christian Science Hymnal were sung by the the being "Christ My Refuge" (No. 253), the words of which were written by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.

Mr. Nelson first read from the Bible as follows: Genesis 1:1, 26, 27; Luke 10:1, 2, 5, 8, 9, 17-20; John 17:1, 4, 6-8, 13, 18, 20-22. And from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy: 346:2-5; 344:1-10; 303:25-30; 515:22-4; 94:1-6; 33:18-21; 52:23-28; 361:13-20.
