Signs of the Times

Christian Science is protected from the prying and insincere by a wall of language. . . . For outsiders, the best key to its life and thought is found in the testimony of those who have been helped by Science, and who seek to live by its teaching.

So, in my attempt to describe the contribution of the Christian Science church to the morale of Syracuse and the nation, I am going to reverse my usual procedure. Instead of starting from the Sunday morning service, I shall lead up to it by brief interviews and quotations which reveal the spirit of the movement in the familiar language of everyday living.
